40th Annual Antiques Fair – 2017
This year’s award for the best dress stand was awarded by Lord Pembroke to Lesley Blackford, stand C21, who specialises in 18th century & 19th century English furniture and fine arts.
NEXT YEAR’S FAIR: –
2nd, 3rd & 4th March 2018 – 10.30am – 5pm
This is an independent, vetted, dateline fair which is organised in-house and has an excellent reputation.
The stands are located in two areas: the Cloisters in the House, and the Old Riding School. Both areas have a wide variety of stands and the dealers are always happy to discuss pieces with buyers and browsers, experienced collectors and novices alike.
Many standholders are members of one or all of the three professional Art & Antique Dealers Associations, BADA, LAPADA or CADA. Vetting ensures that buyers may be confident that the pieces are genuine, of high quality and accurately described.
The 45 dealers will be offering a variety of fine, country and early C20th furniture, Oriental and European porcelain, rugs and textiles, antique glass, superb silver, jewellery, clocks and bronzes, rare books, high quality oil paintings, watercolours, prints, maps and engravings, as well as a broad range of decorative, period collectables.
With something for everyone, you will be sure to find the perfect piece to invest in, treat someone to or just simply indulge yourself with.
The Wilton House Restaurant will be open daily throughout the Fair, serving coffee, light lunches and teas, and the Gift Shop will also be open for cards, gifts and membership enquiries.
The 2018 Fair catalogue with full information and contact details for the standholders will be available in February 2018. (see tab top right).
