VACANCY FOR BUILDING MAINTENANCE FOREMAN
This rural estate in Wiltshire has a Grade I Listed House and Grounds open to the public and has a diverse range of residential, commercial and agricultural properties in its portfolio.
We are looking to appoint someone to take responsibility for delivering the Estate’s repairs, maintenance and conservation programmes across a mixture of residential, commercial and agricultural properties. Reporting to the Resident Agent, the successful applicant will require broad practical building experience, good team working skills and the ability to prepare briefs together with the preservation of Wilton House.
The successful applicant must be organised and should have a basic knowledge of both HSE/CDM, be competent in and be willing to use modern IT systems (Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook). Experience of managing and costing building projects and being prepared to deliver results to the highest standard is essential.

VACANCY FOR PART-TIME HOUSE GUIDE – SEASONAL POST

We would be looking for an enthusiastic, arts based candidate who enjoys working in the public sector to join our team of hard-working, knowledgeable guides. Previous experience would be an advantage but training will be given. The part-time position requires excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to the 3 days a week required between Sundays to Thursdays, 11.15am – 5.15pm. The season runs from Easter weekend to the end of August and includes Bank Holidays, alternate weekends and occasional special event days.
